Infant and Toddler activities

As a stay at home mom, I take my job very seriously. I am constantly on the look out for fun things to do with my nearly 3 year old and 16 month old. Here you will find easy and cheap activities to do with your children. I try to use things that you'd find already in your home or things that are easy to find. Many of the activities we do help sharpen preschool skills such as gross and fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, self confidence and many more.

I hope you find all the infant and toddler activities you're looking for!

Water beads

These pictures aren't the best, the lighting was bad.
Water beads!

They bounce and slip around.

These can be found at Michaes in the floral department. They're meant for flower vases and such. You can buy them 'ready to go' or dry. Dry is much cheaper. Just add water, let them soak for a few hours and you're ready for fun! I added food coloring while they were soaking. West played with them in an enclosed shower stall because they bounce and roll and I didn't want them anywhere where Lula could get them. Also, water beads last for a long time, you just need to keep them wet.

Thanks to playathomemom3.blogspot.com for the fantastic idea!
